How the project is built

The project has three layers.

Foundation

Systems with no story attached. Always installed, works on its own.

The Rift

A crossroads world and the entry point to every other universe.

Addons

Separate universes on top of the foundation, installed by choice.

One rule never bends: addons know about the foundation, the foundation knows nothing about addons.
